On Tuesday, May 17, at approximately 8:30 AM Chaska
detectives, with the assistance of the Carver County Sheriff’s
Emergency Response Team (SERT), arrested Roberta Ann
Michel, DOB 05.24.1966, age 44, for the armed robbery of
Kelley’s bar – 501 Chestnut Street, Chaska - on Wednesday,
May 11.

May 11.
The arrest took place at Michel’s residence – 116 South
Street West, Norwood Young America (Carver County, MN.)
Physical evidence and tips from the public assisted a team
led by Detective Rachel Nelson in identifying Michel, as the
suspect.
Numerous pieces of evidence, including the gun used in the
robbery, were taken into custody, at the time of Michel’s
arrest. Michel is being held in the Carver County Jail.
